Who is Pinell Tools?+
Pinell Tools is a specialty tool manufacturer based in Houma, Louisiana. Founded by Johnny Pinell, we design and manufacture tools that solve real plumbing problems — starting with the Hub Remover and the Toilet Bowl Flange Remover. Every tool is made in our own machine shop and ships directly from Louisiana.
Where are your tools made?+
All Pinell Tools products are designed and manufactured in Houma, Louisiana, USA. We run our own CNC machine shop, so every tool is precision-machined and quality-checked before it ships.
Are your tools patented?+
Yes. Both the Hub Remover and the Toilet Bowl Flange Remover are patented designs. They are the first tools of their kind built for these specific plumbing removal jobs.
What drill do I need to use these tools?+
Any standard cordless or corded drill will work. All Pinell Tools have a 7/16″ hex shank that fits any standard drill chuck. No special drill, adapter, or attachment needed.
What pipe types are compatible?+
Both tools are designed for Schedule 40 PVC and ABS pipe. They are not compatible with Schedule 80 pipe due to its thicker wall construction.
What material are the tools made from?+
All tools are machined from anodized aluminum — lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and built for the demands of daily job site use.
What does the Hub Remover do?+
The Hub Remover removes PVC hub fittings from the wall without cutting the surrounding pipe or damaging the backsplash. It’s drill-powered and works where no standard tool can — in tight spaces with no room to cut.
What sizes does the Hub Remover come in?+
The Hub Remover is available in 8 sizes: ½″, ¾″, 1″, 1¼″, 1½″, 2″, 3″, and 4″. Each size is sold as its own individual product. Kits are also available if you need multiple sizes.
Will it damage the pipe or the wall?+
No. The Hub Remover is specifically designed to remove the fitting without cutting, cracking, or damaging the surrounding pipe. The pipe and wall stay intact, which means no extra couplings, no patchwork, and no re-pipe.
What does the Flange Remover do?+
The Toilet Bowl Flange Remover removes glued-in toilet bowl flanges from Schedule 40 PVC and ABS pipe without damaging the pipe. It uses a 5 staggered insert cutter that removes the flange cleanly from the inside, leaving the pipe intact and ready for a new flange installation.
What sizes does the Flange Remover come in?+
The Flange Remover is available in 3″ and 4″. A set containing both sizes is also available and is priced below the cost of purchasing each tool individually.
Can I use it on Schedule 80 pipe?+
No. The Flange Remover is only compatible with Schedule 40 PVC and ABS pipe. Schedule 80 has a thicker wall and requires different tooling.
How fast will my order ship?+
Orders placed before 3:00 PM CST typically ship the same day. All domestic orders ship via UPS Ground and generally arrive within 3 business days.
How much does shipping cost?+
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. Orders over $500 ship free within the contiguous United States.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes — we ship internationally via DHL. International shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your destination. If you have questions about a specific country or shipment, contact us and we’ll help.
What is your return policy?+
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase on unused tools in original condition. Tools that have been used are not eligible for return. To start a return, contact us first and we’ll provide instructions.
Do your tools come with a warranty?+
Yes. All Pinell Tools products come with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If your tool ever has a manufacturing defect, contact us and we’ll make it right.
Does the warranty cover misuse or damage?+
The lifetime warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification, or use outside the tool’s intended purpose (e.g., use on Schedule 80 pipe).
