I purchased the 2" one recently and it made it so simple . Fitting was right on the concrete floor on the 3rd floor of a 5 story building . This tool let me make the repair without opening the wall on the lower floor. Just ordered the 3" one . I'm slowly making up the entire kit . Excellent tool for the van.
The tool is built well. It works good. It didn't work in the application I needed unfortunately. I needed the 2" to fit through the opening of a shower pan since I could not access from the tenant below. I'm debating bringing the tool to a machine shop lathe to make the outer diameter fit through the opening in the pan. Shipping was disappointing. I paid an extra $54 for the advertised 1 business day shipping. I ordered on a Monday, the tool came on Saturday which was slower than the much cheaper 2-3 business day shipping.
These tools are very well made with precision machinery. I’ve put them in secure storage to offer quality repairs on drainage systems.
Had a broken toilet flange w 3” hub connection. Didn’t want to remove a large amount of concrete and dig out to replace pipe and fitting. Cut top of flange off and then removed the hub with this tool. Only had to remove about one inch of concrete from around the hub to fit tool. Dropped a new flange/hub fitting on the exposed pipe. Perfect fit. Saved about 3 hours of labor.
